Football, known as soccer in the United States and Canada, is a popular sport played by two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. Regeln

The basic rules of football are simple. The game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end. The main rule is that players other than the goalkeepers may not intentionally touch the ball with their hands or arms while it is in play. The match is played in two 45-minute halves with a 15-minute break in between.
